Sliding Door Stops

These is designed to hold the sliding door on Ducato vans at a halfway point.

There are 3 types:

“Full Stop” stops the door from opening any further that halfway, protecting the rear side window. Opening is same as normal but the door will stop halfway, and will stay in place. To close, pull the handle then slide. See the photos showing the position relative to the door opening and the window.  This design clips in to the round and oval holes in the lower door channel so please check that those are present on your van before odering.

“Door Catch” allows the door to open fully or stop half way. So it doesn’t mechanically protect the window but does provide more flexibility. To open all the way, slide door as usual; to open halfway slide till the door passes the catch (you’ll hear that happen) then slide back again. To close, pull the handle then slide.  This design clips in to the round and oval holes in the lower door channel so please check that those are present on your van before odering.

“Flexible Catch” is similar in function to the door catch, but is better if you are prone to forget that the catch is there thus slamming the door against the catch when you close it; the flexible material just bounces out of the way. Unlike the others, it is mounted with double-sided VHB (Very High Bond) tape so you can place it where you want.
