Rear Door Strap

This is a strap to make it easy to pull the rear door closed from inside the van; the offside (left from the inside) door has a handle, but there’s nothing on the nearside door to grab hold of.

Secondly, it’s a bump stop to protect the other door from damage should you close the doors in the wrong order. On the Ducato, the nearside door should be closed first, and if it isn’t then it will hit the offside door, possibly causing damage. Most vans are equipped with a felt or rubber pad, and this does the same job, whilst also providing a grab handle.
